Traumatic Event Management Consultation Services

Unexpected crises — such as the death of an employee, a serious workplace accident, acts of violence, natural disasters, or other emergencies — can deeply affect the emotional wellbeing and performance of those within an organization. In the aftermath of such events, employees often experience a wide range of responses, including shock, grief, guilt, anxiety, or emotional numbness. Providing immediate and compassionate support during these times is vital to both individual recovery and organizational stability.
 

As a Critical Incident Consultant, I partner with organizations to provide trauma-informed response and recovery services following workplace crises. My goal is to help employees process distressing events in a safe, structured environment, while supporting leadership in restoring a sense of safety and continuity across the team.


Through on-site or virtual interventions, I facilitate opportunities for employees to reflect, share, and regain a sense of control in the wake of crisis. This may include:
 

  • Group or individual debriefings following traumatic events

  • Guidance for leadership on supporting impacted staff

  • Short-term emotional stabilization and stress management techniques

  • Resources for ongoing mental health and organizational resilience

Onsite Sessions

Onsite support is offered directly within the clients' workplace environment, allowing the  consultant to assist clients in person.

Virtual Sessions

Virtual sessions are available for organizations that favor online support for their staff using a HIPAA compliant platform.

Group Sessions

Group settings are designed to provide emotional support and coping strategies to multiple individuals simultaneously. This environment allows participants to openly discuss their reactions, feelings, and experiences related to the incident, fostering mutual support among group members.

Individual Sessions

Individualized services are offered to employees who seek a private setting in which to express their feelings and reactions about the incident freely, without the concern of being overheard by others.
